The stress involved in planning a wedding can sometimes be a physical drain on a bride and groom. That is exactly what we tried to avoid by helping plan the Kirven/Ramsey Wedding. We knew them from doing their corporate work and so they asked us to help with this very important, personal event. They wanted an “earthy” theme which used herbs and a lot of greenery in the wedding. They wanted an intimate event with close friends and family which resulted in around 200 guests.
We helped with the planning and details of the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception. The casual, “garden party” rehearsal dinner they desired was held at the Windermere Town Hall venue, close to where the bride spent her childhood. The wedding was held at their home church chapel of First Baptist Orlando and we helped change out the existing “gold look” of the chapel décor to a wrought iron look the couple desired. They wanted their ceremony to convey warmth and also provide a window for guests to see the treasure of their relationship.
For the reception, the location of Bella Collina helped convey the feeling of a destination wedding yet still so close to Orlando. We helped the couple with many details to achieve the overall effect for the event. The “earthy” theme was felt throughout the event from the rosemary swags that decorated the pews of the church isles to the sweet smelling lavender blossoms that were thrown as the couple departed for their honeymoon. Our goal is to achieve the dream of the couple for their big event, while at the same time, providing value and opportunities for savings along the way. We believe that even a very special wedding can be achieved within a budget.
