Servant Healthcare Investments wanted to hold a unique event for some of their key clients. The owners were avid cyclists and since they were in the healthcare industry, they realized many of their clients enjoyed cycling as well. Distinctive helped them create an Inaugural Cycling Invitational. We oversaw the planning, invitations, and drafted communication leading up to the event. The key for us was to make sure that from the moment their guests arrived, they were fully taken care of and that every detail they needed was provided. This included meals designed especially for the physical journey, hotel room gift bags, branded t-shirts and cycling bottles, plus all the nourishment & supplements needed along the route.
The riders completed a 20-mile ride the first day, and a 40-mile ride the second day. The route took them through some of Florida’s most scenic terrain while also conquering Sugarloaf Mountain, the highest peak in peninsular Florida. Once the event concluded, we oversaw all of the follow-up details from shipping their bikes back safely to their destination of origin to sending each participant a thank you note and a commemorative photograph of the trip. The best part for us was watching our clients able to ride and enjoy the event without having to worry about the details. Servant Healthcare was able to see their vision for the event realized as the host and yet also experience the event as if they were a guest.
